Vividbooks Physics 4.1.21

The Vividbooks library of science content integrates traditional paper-based worksheets with modern technology, offering a unique educational resource for teachers. Interactive animations enhance the comprehension of complex scientific concepts, transforming lessons into engaging experiences.

Educators can access free lessons by clicking on the "Free lessons" tab, where selected chapters from completed books—including Liquids and Gases, Optics and Energy, and Physics for 7th and 8th grades—are available. Each chapter features multiple free lessons, providing a rich variety of materials.

Within each lesson, users will find animations that illustrate the subject matter, accompanied by concise texts that explain the concepts. Reflection and discussion questions are also provided to facilitate deeper thinking; these can be accessed by clicking the "i" information icon located in the upper right corner of each lesson.

The animations are designed in various formats. Some depict physical phenomena in a loop, while others allow user interaction through black dots beside the images, enabling clicking or dragging actions. Additionally, users can switch between animations using arrows or explore content through augmented reality (AR).

To engage with Vividbooks content, educators can print worksheets (either individually for each lesson or collectively by selecting “Get Worksheets” in the chapter list) in A5 size. By swiping the “Drag to Explore” button and directing their devices at the printed black-and-white images, users can enhance their learning experience while ensuring that the relevant book is open within the application.

The Vividbooks app activates an interactive animation on the screen when a printed worksheet is used. After viewing the animation and reading the accompanying text, students are encouraged to illustrate their understanding directly on the worksheet. To optimize AR functionality, it is recommended to utilize markers in non-dominant colors and ensure that worksheets remain flat and undamaged.

Each lesson is equipped with questions that promote creative thinking and active classroom discussions. Responses to these questions can also be recorded directly on the worksheets.

For those without a compatible device for accessing the Vividbooks application, textbooks can still be viewed on our website at www.app.vividbooks.com, suitable for use on computers or interactive whiteboards.
